leading zeros when uploading a number from text file
 

I view and upload text files with a column of values that contain leading
zeros. I want to retain the leading zeros when I use Excel to view or store
this data. Any suggestions on how to turn off, Excel's elimination of the
leading zeros?

Format the cells as text.
