Filling a series down a page
Hi,
I have a list of data like this: John 12 18 11 Mary 56 23 67 etc etc I am trying to fill john's name down next to all his figures and then mary's name down all in one go. I have tried selecting the range of names, hitting F5, selecting blank cells, and then typing "=a1(in this case, john)" and then doing Ctrl, shift, enter to fill the array. However, this fills down for John but stops at mary and doesn't go any further down the list. Is there anything I can do? Thanks, Mike |

Hi Mike,
Select the cells in the first column, starting with the first data cell (John) down to the last required cell F5 | Special | Blanks | OK | Type = Press the up arrow | Ctrl-Enter. --- Regards, Norman "mike_vr" wrote in message ...
