How do you make a negative sum show up in Parenthesis and red?

Format the cell:

FormatCellsNumber
In the Category list choose Number (or another appropriate format)
On the right side of the dialog box is a set of choices, including how you
want your negative numbers to appear. Click the one showing parens and red.
