When I type a number in a cell with the first digit "0" the zero disappears.
How can I make it stay? |

If I format a cell with custom format of 00000
and enter 123, the cell displays 00123 Alternatively, if these are not really numbers (i.e you will not be going any arithmetic on them) then precede them with an apostrophe - it will not display in the cell nor will it print. best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "Tawn Tawn" <Tawn wrote in message ...
