Default Date query?

Hi

I have a spreadsheet where I keep a record of client visits.

I enter the date of visit in Column A i.e 10/5/06 yet when I press enter to
accept it the date changes in the cell to 05/10/06?

Grateful for any advice.

Cheers

Go to the Control Panel and double click the Regional and Language icon. On
the Regional Options tab page, click the CUSTOMIZE button and then click the
DATE tab in the next dialog box. Verify that your short date format is
M/d/yyyy.
