Default File Error:Data may be lost

I am trying to open an excel doc that has macros and i am getting an error
message. File Error: Data may be lost. However i can open othet spreadsheets
with macros OK. If I keep hitting OK about 10 times the spread sheet will
eventuallly open but none of the macro's work. I have already tried changing
the securith settings to no avail...HELP

Maybe it's time to rebuild that one workbook that has the trouble--the other
workbooks open fine, right?

I wouldn't want to take a chance that the problem workbook gets so bad that it
won't open.

I am not too sure what you mean by build workbook. I did not create this
file it was given to me by someone else. This person uses it every day in
their workplace. I was also able to use this file until I formated my pc and
now it will not work. I do not know anything about macros.

I mean start a new workbook from scratch and put everything you need to into
that new workbook.

It's a pain to do, but if that file is really corrupted, someday you may come in
and not be able to open the workbook at all.
