In office 2003 how can FIXEDSYS font avail in EXCEL & not in WORD
FIXEDSYS font is available in EXCEL but does not appear in the font list in
Word. How can this be? Shouldn't Office provide a consistent environment? I want to paste columnar text into Word and the proportional fonts screw it all up. The corporate desktop just switched to Office 2003 here and support is al ittle light. |

Yup, don't get me started on Word. If you haven't got anything nice to say....
Anyway, try using "Courier" or "Courier New" font in Word. It is a fixed-width font. HTH, Elkar "PTK" wrote: FIXEDSYS font is available in EXCEL but does not appear in the font list in Word. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=291354 "Some fonts that
were available in Word 95 are no longer available in Word 2002". The article also applies to Word 2003. PTK wrote: FIXEDSYS font is available in EXCEL but does not appear in the font list in Word.
