Linking to protected worksheet(s)
 

We have protected ranges of cells in all the sheets in Workbook A that
receives data from Workbook B. However, when we open Workbook A it cannot
update because the link is not recognized. The links must be edited in order
to update. If we remove protection for the worksheets in Workbook A the
problem goes away. What is happening and is there a work-around?
