Someone has created a formula on a spreadsheet, but it is not working as it
was supposed to, how do I delete this?

Select the cell containing the formula
Press <Del

Thanks, but thats not what i meant!
For example, I have the total of all miles driven for one week, there is a
formula to minus off 720 of those miles which I want to keep, but at the
moment the cell with the total, minus the 720, there is a formula which turns
the cell red, which I cannot get rid of. I want this formula kept, but only
turns red when over 2350 miles have been driven. Hope this makes sense!

Hi,

Looks like there is conditional formatting at work.

select the cell then select FORMAT, Conditional formatting and adjust
the conditions that you see there.
