Weekday Formula
Here's my formula: =CHOOSE(WEEKDAY("1 Jan " &$C$1),"Sun","Mon","Tue","Wed","Thu","Fri","Sat ") where C1 = the year 2006 B1 has the month Jan and I want to input that into my formula, so when I change the month, it automatically will change my formula. I tried =CHOOSE(WEEKDAY("1 $B$1 " &$C$1),"Sun","Mon","Tue","Wed","Thu","Fri","Sat ") B1 = Jan C1 = 2006 But this isn't working. Are there any suggestions? Weekday Formula
No need to use that formula at all, assuming that you want the weekday of
the 1st of each month and year you put in B1 and C1 you can use =TEXT(B1&" "&C1,"ddd") -- Regards, Peo Sjoblom http://nwexcelsolutions.com "fastballfreddy" <fastballfreddy.27i2tm_1147110901.7708@excelforu m-nospam.com wrote in message news:fastballfreddy.27i2tm_1147110901.7708@excelfo rum-nospam.com...
