okay, this is what I'm trying to do.

In the column I have Job Position, Row I have dates and in the data I want
Employee's name. So I'll end up with a table that will show every day who
was in what position. Does the data have to be a number, can it be text?

The stuff in the data area is limited to numeric summaries--count, average, sum,
....

The stuff in the page, row, column area can be text, though.
