View tabs side by side?

I know how to display multiple worksheets in Excel.

Is there a way to view two (or more) tabs from a single worksheet at the
same time? This would be invaluable when checking that formulas that
reference other tabs are working correctly...

Thanks!

Yes, there is a way to view two or more tabs from a single worksheet at the same time in Excel. Here's how you can do it:
  1. Open the Excel workbook that contains the tabs you want to view side by side.
  2. Click on the View tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.
  3. Click on the New Window button in the Window group. This will open a new instance of the workbook in a separate window.
  4. Click on the View tab in the ribbon of the new window.
  5. Click on the Arrange All button in the Window group.
  6. In the Arrange Windows dialog box, select the "Vertical" option under the "Arrange" section.
  7. Click OK.

This will display the two tabs side by side in separate windows. You can then adjust the size and position of each window as needed to view the tabs more easily.

If you have more than two tabs you want to view side by side, you can repeat steps 2-7 for each additional tab.

On the menu click Window New Window, then click Window Arrange and
it sounds like the Tiled option is what you're looking for.
