I HAVE A TEXT FILE THAT COMES IN TO EXCEL DELIMITED AND A VALUE COMES IN AT
20000 iS THERE A WAY TO TELL THAT COLUMN TO CHANGR THAT FORMAT TO 200.00
WITH OUT CREATING A NEW COLUMN WITH A FORMULA

FORMAT COLUMN
 
You could put 100 in an empty cell
copy that cell
select that column to adjust
edit|paste special|click divide

Clean up that cell with 100 in it.

FORMAT COLUMN
 
You can type 100 in an unused cell, then left-click on it and do COPY, then
highlight your cells in column A and do PASTESPECIAL DIVIDE..........this
will convert all the 20000's to 200's, then format column A for NUMBER and
two decimal places.....
