Alternative Printer Button

Hi,
In Excel, I'd like to set up an "alternative printer button". In other
words, the standard Excel print execution (File/Print or Print button icon)
would print to the PC's standard default printer. But the Excel toolbar
would now have a second print button, that would print to an alternative
printer, but leave the default printer unchanged. Thanks in advance for
whatever assistance folks can provide.

Right click in the toolbar and choose "Customize", then <Commands tab,

Click "File" in the left window and scroll down in the right window until
you come to 2 identical "Print" icons.

One will automatically print to the default printer (probably what you have
on your toolbar), and the other will give you a choice of installed
printers.

You can drag this to your toolbar and change the icon if you wish.

Thank you very much. However, having done this, now when I click on the new
printer icon, it seems to change the Excel default printer to the new printer
(for both icons). Am I missing something?

No, you're not missing anything ... I'm just explaining it very badly.

I meant to bring to your attention the fact that there was an icon that
allowed you to choose a printer ... that's all.

I believe you'll need some code (record a macro) to assign separate icons to
specific printers.
