Stop (C) becoming ©
 

Hi,

When I type the following into a cell:

(C)

excel automatically changes it to:

©

the copyright symbol.

Is there a way to stop this happening?

Goto ToolsAutocorrect and you should find an entry there that does this.
Select it and hit Delete.
