If a cell or column or row is populated then it is not empty.

Hi
Gary Thanks for resopnse does ur answer also mean, "........A cell or column or row is said to be populated if it is not empty......." thanks "Gary''s Student" wrote: If a cell or column or row is populated then it is not empty. -- Gary's Student "Abhishek kedia" wrote: hi can any one tell me what is populated filed or column or cell or row This is the new term for me, which I have seen in Excel discussion group Thanks |

This statement is true with one exception. A cell can appear to be empty,
but actually contain a formula. If you put: =IF(1=1,"","") in a cell the cell will appear empty, but it actually is populated. -- Gary's Student "Abhishek kedia" wrote: Hi Gary Thanks for resopnse does ur answer also mean, "........A cell or column or row is said to be populated if it is not empty......." thanks "Gary''s Student" wrote: If a cell or column or row is populated then it is not empty. -- Gary's Student "Abhishek kedia" wrote: hi can any one tell me what is populated filed or column or cell or row This is the new term for me, which I have seen in Excel discussion group Thanks |
