Default TROUBLE OPENING OLD WORKBOOK VERSION

I have a workbook that will correctly open in Excel 2000 but not in 2003.
What can I do to correct this?

"Not in 2003" means what?

Error messages?

No sheets showing?

Data is messed up?

Formulas show errors?

In other words.......what is it about the workbook that seems "not correct"?

Default TROUBLE OPENING OLD WORKBOOK VERSION

When I attempt to open the file I receive an error window stating that Excel
has encountered a problem and needs to close. I send the error report, allow
it to restart Excel and after the second attempt, it opens a "repaired"
version. All that comes up when this happens are values in cells. The file
when opened in Excel 2000 displays individual inputs for evaluation reports
and the ability to compare them both graphically and via text.
