Can you link drop down menus
 

We are creating form in excel and have 2 drop down menus - can you link
options from the first drop down box to the second - Example

Box #1 - has listing of deparment numbers

Box #2 - has listing of account numbers

We would like the outcome to be: Once the department is selected and you
are selecting a account number - we would like "Only" the account numbers
that pertain to that department as the option

Yes you can, in the second validation, you use a List option and for the
source have something like:-

INDIRECT(HLOOKUP(A1,C1:E2,2,FALSE))

Where A1 is your first List (Department), then in C1,D1,E1, you have
all the possible values of the first validation, then in C2,D2,E2, you
have wriiten as text the reference of the cells which contain account
numbers for the department F1:F5, where F1 has account number 1, F2 has
account number 2, and so on
