You can't copy the AutoFilter dropdown list, but you can use an Advanced
Filter to extract the unique values from a list. There are instructions he http://www.contextures.com/xladvfilter01.html chanceygardener wrote: is the any way to copy, cut or print the list that is availible in a field when auto filter is used? |

When I follow those instuctions I get an error message that says "You can
only copy filtered data to an active spreadsheet". I thought I was filtering the data using the steps in the instructions. What am I doing wrong? No it doesn't, nowhere in your previous post did you indicate that you were
filtering to another sheet, you can just see the instructions for the next example "Extract Data to Another Worksheet If the database is on Sheet1 and you would like to extract data to Sheet2: Go to Sheet 2 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<============================= == Select a cell in an unused part of the sheet (cell C4 in this example). From the Data menu, choose Filter, Advanced Filter. " -- Regards, Peo Sjoblom http://nwexcelsolutions.com "chanceygardener" wrote in message ...
