Default remove flashing border after copying cells, how?

I am trying to upgrade skills with MS Office. When I copy cells from one
location to annother there is a flashing border that won't go away or stop
once the copy process is completed. How do I address that?

The border will also disappear when you type something in another cell
and hit <ENTER.

Hit the <ESC key.

Hit the <ENTER key.

Either one should do the trick.
