how do i take off 15% of bulk prices in excel
 

i have price list in excel but i need to take of 15% off all but if i had to
do it 1 by 1 it will take for everso is it possible to do it in one so
instead of taking hours it takes mins any help much welcome

how do i take off 15% of bulk prices in excel
 

In an empty cell, put the number 0.85 and copy that cell. Then
select the cells you wish to change. Go to the Edit menu, choose
Paste Special, and choose the Multiply operation.

in a cell type .85
copy that cell

next select all the cells to be reduced
EditPasteSpecial, and check the Multiply button
OK

now clear the cell with .85 in, and all done
