I have recently moved to a new machine, and now the cell shading in my spreadsheets no longer display without going to print-preview. I've looked through all the view settings I can find and this one doesn't seem to be anyplace. Is there something I should try to do short of reinstalling the product to try to correct this? |

If this is a problem with all Excel files with coloured cells, the Windows OS
high contrast setting may be turned on. There is information in the following MSKB article: OFF: Changes to Fill Color and Fill Pattern Are Not Displayed http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-ca;320531 Gord Dibben Excel MVP On Thu, 20 Apr 2006 16:05:01 -0700, shess wrote: Please help, I have the same issue and this is no longer an active document. shess ======================= Check out this link: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=320531 Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP |
