"Save as" will not work when trying to save a document in a folder
 

I have Windows XP. When I try to save a new Word or Excel file document, I
can save it under "My Documents" but for some reason, it cannot be saved into
a folder contained in the "My Documents" area.

"Save as" will not work when trying to save a document in a folder
 

If you open Explore (or 'My Computer') can you go to this folder, and if
so, within the folder, can you then Rightmouse, New, and create a new
Text document?
