Advanced Sorting #'s??

If I have a list of numbers - say .38, .62, 1, 1.29, 1.67, 2, etc.
How can I sort the list to have the whole numbers first, (1, 2) then the
list of other numbers? If I data sort it puts them in the order I have
listed.

Step 1 - Highlight the list of numbers to sort, go to Data, Sort, and click
the descending box. That will put the whole #'s first.

Step 2 - Highlight only the whole #'s then go to Data, Sort, and click the
ascending box. That will put the whole #'s in order from smallest to largest.

Hope that helped.

I tried but it's not sorting like you say. It puts them in the order that i
have them typed below .38, .62, 1, 1.29, 1.67, 2
Is there a setting somewhere that would make this work?

Make sure when you go to Data, Sort, that you are selecting the Descending
box. It should sort from largest # to smallest #. Then go back and
highlight just the whole #'s and resort with the Ascending box checked. Make
sure you highlight what you want sorted.
