An easy one for you guys:
I know how to hide a section of my sheet (in my case the top few rows) by selection the section then right clicking and choosing hide; but how do I unhide the selection? Thanks Colin |

Hide Unhide
Hi Colin, Guess what ... with Unhide ... but the trick is that the cell menu becomes available, only when your cursor is well positionned ... symbol looks like the column width with a blank line in the middle ... Hide Unhide
It sometime becomes a problem when you hide the *first* column (A) or Row
( 1 ) to select them to "unhide". One trick to select hidden cells is use "GoTo". Say you've hidden Row1 to 5. Select *all* of Row6 by clicking in the row header, Hit <F5 Type 1:1 in the reference box, Hold <Shift Hit <Enter Right click anywhere in Row6 and choose "Unhide". -- HTH, RD --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please keep all correspondence within the NewsGroup, so all may benefit ! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Colin" wrote in message ... An alternative is to click in the top left box (to the left of A, and above 1), & to use Format/ Row/ Unhide. [This would, of course, unhide any hidden rows anywhere in the sheet.] -- David Biddulph |
