Merge data in column function

Hi all,

I've a speadsheet with two columns clicks and domains.

Domains has repeat entries in and I would like to produce a new table
with only unique values for the domain. My question is how would I do
this and add combine the relevant click values

i.e.

www.google.com 10
www.yahoo.com 07
www.google.com 12

Would end up as:
www.google.com 22
www.yahoo.com 07

Thanks,

Richard

Hi sitetidy. Assuming your domain names are in Column A and your clicks in
Column C, sort on Column A to bring all domain names together and then use
Data - Subtotals to add the clicks. Make sure you have Column labels in Row
1. Click on the little 2 to the left of the column headings to collapse the
table. Next, go to Edit - Go to, click on special and select visible cells
only. Copy and paste special - values to another location. To get rid of
the word Total, select column A and go to Edit - Replace and replace Total
with nothing. HTH
Sincerely, Michael Colvin
