How to control chart properties from worksheet
Hello experts! Is it possible to control the chart properties from the worksheet? I know it is possible to control legend texts (series names). I am especially interested in controlling the ranges of series. How to control the title and other texts on the chart would be also useful. Best regards, Marko |

For dynamic range charts, visit Jon Peltier's website. For adding controlled text to a chart... Put "fred" in cell A1 highlight your chart in the formula bar towards the top of your screen, type = then highlight cell A1 and press return the word fred appears on your chart go to A1, change to "pat" pat appears on your chart. You can put calculated fields on in exactly the same way. -- robert111 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ robert111's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=31996 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=529924 |

You can control the length of the series by creating dynamic ranges and using these as the data range for each series. See the examples and links he http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/Dynamics.html You can link a chart text element to a worksheet cell easily. Select the element (chart title, axis title, individual data label, text box), type =, then click on the cell and press Enter. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Peltier Technical Services - Tutorials and Custom Solutions - http://PeltierTech.com/ 2006 Excel User Conference, 19-21 April, Atlantic City, NJ http://peltiertech.com/Excel/ExcelUserConf06.html _______ "Marko Pinteric" wrote in message ...
