date & time format and autofill
I have a list in text format as follows:
27/03/2006 00:00 28/03/2006 00:00 29/03/2006 00:00 30/03/2006 00:00 & I would like to use autofill to creat a list of each day of the year. However, when I try to do this, it just adds on seconds rather than continuing with the days. How can I get the list to carry on in the same format, without changing the cell format? |
date & time format and autofill
You can't. If you insist on using text format, Excel will not recognize your
data as a date. Is there a reason you need text format? Why not convert to a true Excel date, then use dd/mm/yyy hh:mm format? -- Regards, Fred "fosnanna" wrote in message ...
