link cell content to another file
 

how would i go about linking a word from one excel doc to another.
ex: cell A2 in document 1 has the word "dog". i want cell A2 in document 2
to show the same word by linking the files together.

Easy, be in cell A2 in document 2 and then press '=' and click on 'Window'
(in menu bar), selected document 1, click on cell A2 and press 'Enter'..

thx! it worked perfectly...now i have to do this with about 15 sheets. is
there a fast way to have all the sheets linked like the example below all
onto another document? they're all in the same cells on the first doc. just
on diff sheets.
ex: cells A2 on 15 sheets in doc 1 need to link to doc 2 but on one sheet.
so cells A2 from all sheets for doc 1 to show on 1 sheet on doc 2. on a2, a3,
a4, etc...assuming this makes any sense.
