Automatic Notification

Hi- I'm new here, and have done a search, but could not find an answer
to my question.
I am trying to set up a database in Excel to track some medical
equipment that needs to be re-certified every 10K hours of use. Is
there any way to set it up so that I will be alerted when a particular
unit is approaching it's usage limit?
Please know that I am very new to this, and just learning.

Thanks,

cabbitt

Automatic Notification

It would be relatively easy to set up something using 'Data Validation' to
highlight the color of the machine name in RED when a set time (date)
approaches.
However, easy meaning calendar time/date.

How do you intend to monitor (record) machine *USAGE*?
