Automatic Notification
Hi- I'm new here, and have done a search, but could not find an answer to my question. I am trying to set up a database in Excel to track some medical equipment that needs to be re-certified every 10K hours of use. Is there any way to set it up so that I will be alerted when a particular unit is approaching it's usage limit? Please know that I am very new to this, and just learning. It would be relatively easy to set up something using 'Data Validation' to
highlight the color of the machine name in RED when a set time (date) approaches. However, easy meaning calendar time/date. How do you intend to monitor (record) machine *USAGE*? -- Regards, RD --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please keep all correspondence within the NewsGroup, so all may benefit ! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "cabbitt" wrote in message ...
