freeze panes?
i have an apple laptop, and i'm trying to use the 'freeze panes' feature on a spreadsheet. for some reason, when i go to window, the freeze pane option is faded. how do i get it to work? -- gregp22 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gregp22's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=32606 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=528810 |
freeze panes?
Hi Greg,
You asked this question elsewhere, probably in another newsgroup, please stick to one newsgroup, better yet post directly to a newsgroups instead of through a web based interface. http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/xlnews.htm As was pointed out in the other thread, you have protected your worksheet and can't add/remove freeze panes. You can turn off sheet protection and change the freeze then reprotect the sheet. --- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel [site changed Nov. 2001] My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm Search Page: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/search.htm "gregp22" wrote in message ... i have an apple laptop, and i'm trying to use the 'freeze panes' feature on a spreadsheet. for some reason, when i go to window, the freeze pane option is faded. how do i get it to work? -- gregp22 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gregp22's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=32606 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=528810 |
