Paste Special
Previously, when I used the function Paste Special a dialog box appeared
prompting for selections such as all, formula, formatting, etc. Suddenly, when I start a new worksheet, a different dialog box appears prompting for options for embedding the item I am trying to paste. Obviously an setup option has changed €“ can you tell me whats going on? |
Paste Special
My guess is that you have two different instances of excel open--not two
workbooks open in the same instance. Try closing one of the workbooks (and that instance of excel, too). Then go to the other workbook's instance of excel and use File|open to open the second file. Now try copy, then paste|special. sdmccabe wrote: Previously, when I used the function Paste Special a dialog box appeared prompting for selections such as all, formula, formatting, etc. Suddenly, when I start a new worksheet, a different dialog box appears prompting for options for embedding the item I am trying to paste.
