Default Excel cannot complete this task

I have an Excel file of 5 MB. when I copy data from it to new file and
want to save that new file a message occurs like this:

"Excel cannot complete this task with available resources. Choose less
data or close other applications."

and excel do not save that file. how can I avoid this and can use
multiple files at same time.
