Formula that will change subsequent cells in a column to match fir
I know that I can drag copy down a column or use Control + apostrophe to make
the next cell be the same as the cell above of it but in pricing template I use to create thousands of item prices I am looking for a way to have a column of 40-50 cells all change when I change the letter in the first cell . Can someone enlighten me? -- Scott B |

Hi Scott,
Not sure of what you are looking for because it sound like you already done what you ask for -- unless you are not using formulas. F2: D F3: =OFFSET(F3,-1,0) which may be preferable to =F2 if inserting/deleting rows Use the fill handle to copy formulas down http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/fillhand.htm --- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel [site changed Nov. 2001] My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm Search Page: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/search.htm "Scott B" wrote in message ...
