hi - i was wondering if someone could tell me how to create multiple
columns under a row...so that what you end up with is not the standard
grid. i don't really know who to better explain my question. i hope
someone understands what i'm getting at. thanks,

i know why i wasn't figuring this out - i was making the larger rows
first, then going back and trying to make multiple columns below. now
i get that i have to merge 1st... sorry, now to excel...

If you do a help on "merge", it tells you how to use a button on one of the
toolbars to merge cells.
