How do I get Excel to stop auto-formatting?
(Grumbles)
I have gone into the "Tools" tab and in the "AutoCorrect Options," "Customize," and "Options" sections and turned off every autocorrect and autoformat feature I can find. Yet Excel STILL tries to figure out the formats for the next cell I enter data into. How do you stop Excel from doing this? (It's pretty lousy and guessing what I want.) Thank you! |

Have you tried ToolsOptionsEdit.....uncheck "extend data range formats and
