Does Excel have an item limit when filtering?
I am filtering on an excel sheet with around 11,000 rows (all items are
unique) and the filter drop-down only displays the first thousand or so. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? |

Hi Jacko
No this is not anything wrong by you, Autofilter will only display 1000 rows. For more information and some work arounds, take a look at http://www.contextures.com/xlautofilter02.html#Limits -- Regards Roger Govier "Jacko at DHL" <Jacko at wrote in message ... Another possibility is that you Auto filtered by selecting header row which
will work as long as there are no empty rows. Auto filter will not see rows after the empty row. If there are empty rows, try auto filter by selecting entire block (all cells)including your header row and activate auto filter.
