Auto format rows according to field data

I have a sheet with a column that will have a value of either R, A, or G
(standing for red, amber, green) depending on its status.

Is there way of creating a script that will automatically format the
text colour of the row to red, green or amber depending on what value
is entered in the RAG column?

Thanks in advace
Tim
