Hi everybody!
I have just created an excel file which is shared by few users. I am surprised how quickly it is getting bigger. At the beginning it had only about 1MB of size. Now it is over 10MB and is still growing! (But the amount of data is almost unchanged). I thought that the cause of the problem was that the file tracked the changes of the file. (There is an option which automatically switch on when you share a file). So I copied the data to a new file (again about 1MB) and this time selected option to not track the changes (but still share the file). But it didn't work. :( The file is still growing. Please could you help me? How to stop the file from getting bigger? The amount of data is not changing - only the values stored in the cells are changing. Any other suggestions how to reduce the file size would be very helpful. (Not necessarily connected withe the topic of sharing file). I tried for example to remove unnecessary columns and rows. But deleting it does not work. Thank you in advance for help. Best regards! |

Remember to rename New worksheet Do I have to repeat this operation every day? Really is there no other option to keep the file size about 1 MB like to copying the data to new worksheet over and over? |
