Default little problem with lookup i think

hello everyone,

This is my first time posting so I hope this is legible....

I have a sheet with 50,000 or so rows consisting of two colums

1. postcode
2. delivery date

i need to find out how many of each postcode there are in each delivery
date. In the past I just auto filter and select a delivery date and then
manually select each postcode to see how many of each. This can take
almost a whole day....does anyone have a better idea of how I could do
this, there are so many ways to do everything in excel there has to be
an easier and quicker way....

Any help would be really appreciated

Thank you all in advance

Jose
