i am using microsoft office 2003.
currently i need to columns of data (in general format) to date (DD/MM/YY) format. tried clicking Format=Cells=Number=Date (select date type) it doesnt work. please advise alternate method thanks. regards noel |

Excel stores dates as serial numbers starting with 1 Jan 1900 (or 1904). Let's gather more information to decide how to fix this. How many dates are we talking about? How did the date information get into the cell? Will this be a repetitive task? --ron |
