Very dumb question
 

Guys, I've got the stupidest problem ever with excel. For some reason,
when I try to use the cursor to move across cells what I end up doing
is moving the window.

Please help, this is a royal nag.

It sounds like you have Scroll Lock on.

Maybe bad mouse..........wheel stuck down, or something..........try using
another mouse.
