I've developed a spreadsheet that tracks when reports have been sent and when
they are coming in. For example...I send a letter asking a company for a document. In one cell I enter that date. The next cell I would enter when they sent the document back to us. The first row contains an I.D. number, so I'd like to enter this number and since the reports come in randomly, I just want to enter them as they come in and then have them sort themselves. They need to sort the entire row with the I.D. number though. Another question...is it possible to create a macro where if you clicked on a cell it would automatically enter today's date? I'm looking for timesavers. I would have to have the option to enter dates manually as well, for backdating purposes. Thanks in advance, jeff |
