Default How do I password protect a comma delimited file please

I'm trying to password protect a .csv file without success. I've tried doing
a save as and then general options, but it won't allow me to continue other
than highlights the advanced button. Please can anyone help me?

You'll need something else to protect it.

A .csv file is just plain old text. It doesn't support all those nice features
of an excel file (.xls).

Maybe you could use some encrypting program or winzip it (using that
encryption).
