Hi, I am new to this so let me know if I am approaching this
incorrectly, but I have a question. I have a file that was originally in CSV format that has been saved as an xls file. Now I am trying to do a vlookup with another excel file without changing the column to fixed width because then it messes up the other vlookups I have to other files. Can anyone help me or at least explain the logic? |

OK, but unless I change the data in the column to fixed width, it is
not the same format as my column from another spreadsheet created in Excel so I don't get a match. They are both text. |
