calculating
i have two work sheets both containing approx 20,000 records. one of each worksheet has an identfier to link the two together. if i want to pull some information from one to the other sheet i can use a offset(match..) formula to find the information. over 20,000 records this slowed up the calculator. would it be best to have the formula written in vb and each time the button is pressed the fomula can run keeping any further calculations running at normal speed? if so please can someone advice on how to do this and if not just an alternative method. thank you all in advance, -- ceemo ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ceemo's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=10650 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=524221 |
