Sure! Click on the Insert menu. The rest will be self-explanatory.

You can insert pictures (Insert|Picture|from file)
And then type the name/path into the adjacent cell.

Ps. But once you insert the picture, there's no connection between that copy of
the picture and the copy still on your drive.
