Default Unable to unprotect a protected excel file

Hi All,

I am unable to unprotect my excel worksheet. the unprotect process went
through without error but the next time I open the same excel file. the same
password screen still appear to prompt me for password.

I suspected it is due to corrupted excel file and how do i fix corrupted
excel file ?

I mean expect paying for shareware out there.

Any help is very much appreciated.
