How do I set up a time lock in Excel?
I want to create a spreadsheet that users can access and make changes up to a
predetermined date and time. At that time the workbook and/or specific worksheets lock, allowing "read only". Can this be done? |

You can do this by having a Workbook_Open macro that picks up on the date you specify and protects all the sheets with some password. But be aware that Excel is not built as a secure platform. There are many ways that whatever scheme you come up with can be defeated. HTH Otto "Justin" wrote in message ...
