font size auto changing from 11 to 15.5 when inserting a symbol
Microsoft Office Professional - Excel 2003 - HELP! - I'm trying to add
symbols in cells. The default font is Ariel and the default font size is 11. The first of this week, the font size started jumping to 15.5 immediately after the symbol was added and the drop down was closed. I've restored my computer to Feb 28th and it didn't help. I also noticed just this morning, when I opened a new workbook and tried to change the column widths to (i.e.) 10.86 it wouldn't let me; it set the column width to 10.88 [which is unacceptable in this instance]. I'm an ex-mainframe programmer and I hate PCs for this reason! If you can assist, please, use small non-buzz-words. thanks |
